Gantry 5.2.3 has been released, featuring a handful of new features that affect the development side of Gantry, as well as several bug fixes.
Among the changes is a new option in the Offcanvas section settings within the Layout Manager enabling you to toggle between the more efficient CSS3 animations and the more reliable CSS2 animations. This change doesn't have any noticeable impact on the user experience, however it can resolve an issue related to using fixed elements in a page (such as headroom).
By default, the Offcanvas opening and closing animations are handled by CSS3 as it is more efficient and better optimized, however if you are using fixed elements on your page and you experience any weirdness resulting in incompatibility with the CSS3 standard, we have added that option for you.
You can see a full list of changes made available in this update in the changelog.
