Gantry 5.1.5 Released

Gantry 5.1.5 is now available. This update includes several important bug fixes, as well as some useful new features and improvements for WordPress, Joomla, and Gantry 5 in general.

Common Changes

Bug fixes and minor improvements for both platforms are plentiful in this update. The Menu Editor's drag-and-drop functionality has been improved on, giving it improved response when multiple columns are used for submenu items.

You can now request the current URL from within Twig. This is a great feature that enables you to utilize the page URL in processes involving your theme and any particles.

Joomla Changes

Among Joomla's changes is the ability to utilize Joomla's API from within Twig files used in your Gantry 5 template, particles, etc. This opens the door for plenty of added functionality in your theme, and more seamless integration with the CMS.

WordPress Changes

A new [loadposition id=""][/loadposition] shortcode is now available, making it possible to load widgets within your content.

An update notification now appears within the Gantry 5 admin whenever an update is available for the Gantry plugin.
